Annual Puja Sponsorship

When you donate for Annual Puja Sponsorship, priests will do “Sankalpa” for you and family whenever he performs the selected Puja or Abhishekam throughout the year.

Rental Option Details

Note:

• Non-members or members who have been less than 2 consecutive years as a member will pay an additional 50% more for Facility usage. Other line items will remain the same
• Additional charges to be paid by renter for any change requested to the standard setup (rectangular tables + 150 chairs)

Additional Options:

• Abhishekam Mahaprasad Sponsors: Included in the sponsorship is a standard setup consisting of rectangular tables and 100 chairs. An additional cleaning and setup fee of $150 applies for events with more than 100 guests.
• Kitchen-Only Rentals: Kitchen use without hall rental is available, but limited to a maximum of 2 hours for a fee of $250
• Community Services: HTKC provides free use of the hall for bhajans related to member memorial services. Please note that kitchen facilities are strictly unavailable during these complimentary sessions.

Reservation Steps

1. Availability: Prospective renters must contact a board member to verify hall availability and secure the calendar date on the website.
2. Rental Application: Renters shall select the appropriate package based on estimated attendance, submit the online “Rental Form”.
3. Payment: Total rental fees, cleaning charges, and deposits are due strictly two (2) weeks prior to the scheduled event.
4. Facility Access: The hall key and gate remote will be made available after 5:00 PM on the day preceding or the day of the event.
5. Equipment Return: Both the hall key and gate remote must be returned to a temple priest or board member immediately upon event conclusion.
6. Security Deposit: The security deposit will be refunded post-event, subject to an inspection confirming there is no damage to the facilities.

Important Rules

1. All wall decorations require prior written approval from the HTKC Board. Unapproved decorations or damages will result in repair costs being deducted from the security deposit.
2. Facility serving utensils are securely locked and unavailable for use by renters or third-party catering services. Renters must provide for their own supplies and serving utensils.
3. Renters are fully responsible for the setup of any outdoor tents, including securing the mandatory permit from the local Fire Department and requesting approval from a Board Member.
4. Round tables are available for rent at an additional fee; set-up and labor charges are extra.
5. Beyond the basic setup, any advanced sound system configuration must be handled by an HTKC approved technician. Please contact the HTKC Board to arrange this. The renter is responsible for any additional cost.
6. The temple assumes no liability for the personal safety or property of the renter or their guests.
7. Meat and alcohol are strictly prohibited anywhere within the temple premises.
8. In the event of a conflict or dispute regarding the rental, the HTKC Board will review the matter, and the Board’s decision shall be final and binding.

• Senior Single Membership: $71 per year
• Senior Couple Membership: $101 per year
• Life Membership: $3001 per single family one-time in life
• Assets membership $11001 per person for life (It is an ownership, Non-transferable and it does not include temple(HTKC) annual or a life membership)

• Outside Priest Services – All Services: $151(Additional Milage to be charged for both local & outside Bakersfield & Airfare and other charges as applicable)
• Wedding: $501(Additional Milage to be charged for both local & outside Bakersfield & Airfare and other charges as applicable)
• Outside temple new service; More than once a month and at least three months consecutive / regular chanting ( Mantra-Vishnu shastra Nama-Upanishad- Vedas) service. $101 per out side service visit
